TES Staffing is looking for a self-motivated, independent cook for a childcare center in Irondequoit. This individual can expect to follow pre-set kid-friendly recipes to make breakfast and lunch for up to 170 attendees. Details:
Pay: $16.00-$18.50 / hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What your day will look like:

• Ensuring that food is properly prepared on time in accordance with menus and recipes.
• Distributing and delivering food trays to the correct classrooms.
• Preparing meals for attendees, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
• Adhering to safety and sanitary procedures.
• Estimating food consumption and maintaining inventory of kitchen.
• Cleaning assigned locations, including restrooms, kitchen, and utensils.
• Assisting in classrooms if needed.

Must have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of food service experience.
• Ability to perform assigned job duties, as well as lifting 50+ pounds.
• Confidence to perform in a kitchen solo.
• Comfortability working around children between 6 weeks – 10 years old.
