Junior Project Executive - Construction

TES Staffing is actively searching for a Junior Project Executive for a WMBE flooring company’s Manhattan office.  This is a job for someone who has between two and five years of end user selling experience, preferably from the architectural, construction or building materials spaces.  This is a full time role that is expected to report in office five days week, for the first year. 

Details:
Full time, Monday – Friday
Salary: Starting at $70k, depending on experience.  This role pays a salary, commissions, and bonuses.

Job Description:

As a Junior Project Executive, you will play a vital role in driving our business growth by establishing and cultivating strong client relationships and ensuring the successful completion of flooring projects. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve project and company goals.

Cultivate Client Relationships:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers through consistent and methodical outreach, demonstrating a disciplined approach to door opening and lead nurturing
  • Proactively make calls and follow up diligently to secure meetings and build rapport
  •  Establish a strong foundation for long-term partnerships and repeat business
Assess Project Needs:
  •  Conduct detailed site assessments, including precise measurements and thorough evaluations of project requirements.
Provide Expert Guidance:
Assist customers in selecting flooring products that align with their needs, preferences, and budget
Develop Comprehensive Proposals: Create accurate and detailed project proposals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and profitability
 Ensure Timely Delivery:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and deliver proposals within established timeframes
Track Project Progress:
  • Monitor proposal status and follow up diligently to facilitate the sales process
Coordinate Project Execution:
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to schedule installations, manage material orders, and ensure seamless project execution
  • Maintain Clear Communication: Provide regular updates to clients and installers throughout each project.
Ensure Client Satisfaction:
  • Conduct final walk-throughs to verify project completion and address any outstanding concerns
Foster Long-Term Relationships:
  • Recommend maintenance solutions to maximize flooring lifespan and performance, promoting customer loyalty. Follow up regularly with customers to keep in touch about flooring needs.
 Utilize CRM Effectively:
  • Regularly update the CRM (salesforce) system with sales activities, use the CRM to plan and optimize sales efforts, as well as set and achieve monthly sales goals

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree highly preferred
  • At least two years experience in sales and/or construction material sales
