Job Title: Food Service Worker
Pay: $16.50/hour
Term of Employment: 2024-2025 School Year, Part Time
Location: Greece Central School District (various locations)

This position is a contract to potential hire, with excellent benefits offered through the school district once brought on permanently!
 

Qualifications:

• Previous food service experience (preferably 1yr+)
• Must obtain, purchase, and pass background check through NYSED.
• Willingness to float to different Greece Central Schools as needed
• Able to perform physical job duties that include walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with students, faculty, and staff

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist with food preparation such as sandwiches, cold plates, etc.
• Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment
• Operate kitchen appliances
• Set up condiments and supplies
• Utilize knife skills
• Operate POS if needed
• Various kitchen duties as needed
