Account Manager and Aftermarket Sales

Our client, a leading Fortune 500 is seeking an Account Manager and Aftermarket Sales Representative to add to their award-winning sales and customer service team.  This is a contract to hire opportunity with one of the best companies to work for in Rochester.

Let’s talk MONEY:
Base pay is $32-35k, based on experience.  There is a guaranteed commission of $1k/month.  A person who is doing just above average can expect $2k/month in commission.  A really good person should be around $3k/monthly.
Total first year compensation should be around $52k. This does not include bonuses, spiffs, Medical benefits, 401k, etc.
Details: Monday-Friday in office 8a-5p (Hybrid) 

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and support the existing account base which includes school districts, small and large businesses and hospitals
  2. Accountable to maintain and grow the existing business
  3. Be able to conduct all support processes: Order Entry, Expediting, Purchasing, Quoting, Billing and Returns
  4. Primary sales contact for all clients under assigned territory
  5. Develop and submit pricing summaries (quotes) to clients and prospects
  6. 95% or Better on accuracy and on-time delivery off all roles and responsibilities.
  7. Reliability, Teamwork, Strong Work Ethic & Professionalism
  8. Make at least 60 warm calls/day
 
Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a combination of inside sales, telemarketing, and customer service/support experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with maintaining account relationships.
  • Enthusiastic, persistent, and energetic with the ability to influence /persuade. Must be comfortable with cold calling and working to meet established call objectives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak articulately and professionally on the phone to prospective and current customers.
