Job Summary

TES Staffing is seeking a Web Monitoring Specialist to support the Rochester City School District by proactively monitoring web applications to ensure optimal performance, availability, and functionality. This temporary role focuses on identifying issues, conducting synthetic testing to simulate user behavior, and escalating technical problems to the appropriate teams to help ensure a reliable digital experience for users.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor web applications and servers to identify performance, availability, and functionality issues

• Troubleshoot common web issues such as broken links, page errors, or system outages

• Conduct synthetic testing to simulate user actions and validate proper application behavior

• Document identified issues clearly and escalate them to appropriate technical or support teams

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support timely resolution of web-related incidents

• Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities and recurring issue trends

Schedule

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date

• Tentative Start Date: March 2, 2026

Qualifications

• Candidates with relevant field experience and strong technical knowledge are highly preferred

• Familiarity with web technologies, application monitoring tools, or QA/testing concepts is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $22.81 – $23.85 per hour(based on 2026 market data)
