Team Lead- Packing and Logistics Project

TES Staffing is partnering with Rochester's largest school district to help with a relocation project starting June 3, 2024. We are actively seeking many people to join this project as Team Leaders. This requires excellent communication, people and project management skills and flexibility in your day to day. Ideal for recent college graduates, teachers or School Admins on summer break, or anyone with a logistics background.

Details:
Start Date: June 3, 2024. There will be pre-hire meetings scheduled in advance of start date
Phase 1 of Project: June 3 - June 30
Phase 2 of Project: August 19-30
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9a-4p
Locations: Rochester City School District schools
Pay: $25/hr
MUST be able to pass a New York State Fingerprint clearance
MUST have your own transportation and valid NYS Driver's License

Job Duties:

Ensure day to day project duties are being completed
Coordinate and communicate with Packing Teams (2-3 people), Onsite contact and Project Manager
Ensure team has all supplies to complete their packing and labeling tasks for the day
Track Packing teams attendance
Submit Packing report 2x/week
Coordinate with school custodians, teachers and administrators
Understanding of working around children in a learning environment

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and organizational skills
Adaptable, professional and reliable
Ability to lift, stand, bend, move for 7+ hours/day
Proven success in high stress/deadline driven environments
