Warehouse Associate – Pick/Packing (Temp to Possible Hire)

Location: Victor, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18–$20/hour
Employment Type: Temporary with potential for hire

TES Staffing is assisting a customer in hiring a Warehouse Associate to support their warehouse operations during a busy period. This role is starting as temporary help, but the company has indicated there is a strong possibility of long-term employment for the right person.

This company is a global supplier of scientific equipment and educational materials used in classrooms, laboratories, and research facilities around the world. Their warehouse team plays a critical role in ensuring schools and organizations receive accurate and carefully packed orders.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where attention to detail and reliability are essential.

What You'll Do

• Pick and pack warehouse orders accurately using pick sheets and handheld scanners (training provided)

• Package items appropriately, especially fragile materials, to prevent damage during shipping

• Label and prepare products for specific destinations, including Amazon fulfillment shipments

• Complete kitting projects that require assembling multiple items into one order (ex: assembling educational kits for schools)

• Retrieve products from warehouse shelves and staging areas

• Follow order instructions carefully to ensure correct items and quantities

• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse

• Support general warehouse tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully

• Comfortable working on your feet and moving throughout the warehouse during the shift

• Ability to stay organized while handling multiple SKUs and order types

• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic comfort learning warehouse tools such as handheld scanners (training provided)

No prior warehouse experience is required, but pick/pack or order fulfillment experience is a plus.

Hiring Process

Due to the urgent need for support, this role will include a working interview, allowing candidates to demonstrate their ability to perform the tasks.
