Entry Level Food Service - Afternoon and Evenings

Rochester, NY · Restaurant/Food Service
This position is a contract to hire role for COOK, PREP, DISHWASHING positions. Permanent status includes FULL BENEFITS including 401K, tuition reimbursement, FULLY PAID healthcare through the employer, room for advancements and more.
 
 
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr - pay is weekly during contract period!
Flexible scheduling, including both set schedules and on call/per diem. Afternoon and night availability is highly preferred.
Bus friendly location

 
Responsibilities of this position:
  • Following food safety and sanitation
  • Serve and replenish food for students
  • Scratch cooking and reading basic recipes 
  • Assisting in dish room, clearing tables and lobby
  • Customer service, assisting students with dietary needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent food industry experience
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively communicate and follow instructions
  • Must be flexible with schedule and job duties
  • Comfortable with customer facing
  • ServSafe certification a plus!
