Housekeeper- Private Residence- FULL TIME $30/hr
Rochester, NY · Hospitality/TravelTES Staffing is enthusiastically searching for a dedicated personal housekeeper for a Premier Client located on the east side of Rochester and on Canandaigua Lake. This is an intimate role that demands experience, awareness of personal boundaries and professionalism. This person will support a residence on a full time basis.
Details:
Help to establish and maintain cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Perform a daily check of rooms and common areas, including stairways, basements and garages for cleanliness
• General daily cleaning and maintenance, with deep cleaning every two weeks (or as required)
• Cleaning of bathrooms including mirrors, toilets, showers and baths
• Cleaning of kitchens including wiping down appliances, counters, sinks and cabinets
• Washing and drying dishes and loading/unloading of the dishwasher
• Changing bed linens and making of beds on a set schedule
• Washing, folding and ironing clothes
• Removing garbage and recycling
• Restock personal items such as toilet paper, tissues, etc.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock and back stock
• Participate in large cleaning projects as required
• Report any broken items immediately to the House Manager
• Ensure that all equipment and appliances are functioning properly
• Manage dry-cleaning
• As needed, assist with personal errands and tasks of the family
• Assist with clean-up during or after construction projects or repairs
• Maintain and keep appliances in clean, good working condition
Requirements
• Work experience as a Housekeeper or a similar role.
• Overall teamwork mentality
• Reliable Transportation
• Friendly and professional with the ability to recognize the personal boundaries of working in someone’s living space and respecting their privacy.
• Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and the proper use of cleaning agents.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and must sign an NDA as a condition of employment
Details:
- Hours- Monday - Friday 8a-5p
- Overtime available
- Pay: Depending on experience, starting at $28/hr
- Contract to hire
- Must have reliable transportation, ability to pass a background check and sign a non-disclosure agreement
