Job Title: Bilingual Substitute Clerk
Pay: $17.00/hour
Term of Employment: Per Diem (2025-2024 School Year)
Location: Rochester City School District (various locations)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare, type, and maintain important documents like correspondence and reports.
  • Keep things organized with alphabetical, numerical, and personal filing systems.
  • Provide and gather information over the phone, via email, or in person.
  • Perform electronic searches and data entry with various input devices.
  • Operate office machines like computers, copiers, and fax machines to keep things running smoothly.
  • Jump in wherever needed to ensure the office operates efficiently.
  • Work on an as-needed basis.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; AAS degree or higher preferred.
  • At least two years of office clerical or secretarial experience (volunteer experience counts!).
  • Bilingual Paraprofessionals must demonstrate proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in English AND one (or more) other language(s).
  • Must obtain and pass background check through NYSED.
