Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our company. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in bookkeeping, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Manage billing processes, prepare and send invoices, and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Office Management: Provide support in various office management tasks, including organizing financial documents and assisting with administrative duties as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the President, Controller, and other team members to support financial operations and contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Financial Analysis: Utilize strong numerical acumen to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in billing, bank reconciliations, and general accounting practices. Previous office management experience is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of accounting software and MS Office Suite. .
  • Analytical Abilities: Exceptional numerical acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and understand that numbers tell a story.
  • Team Orientation: Comfortable working in a team environment and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Training: Willingness to undergo intensive training with the President and Controller to align with company practices and standards.
