Administrative Assistant - Direct Hire

TES Staffing is actively seeking an Administrative Assistant for a small, busy office in Ithaca, New York.  This person will be supporting a small team of interior designers and furniture specialists.   Ideal candidates are highly organized and detail-oriented, as well as self-directed and energetic.  We are also looking for solid skills in Microsoft Excel Outlook, and be comfortable supporting the sales, design, and operations teams with a variety of administrative tasks.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity, salary is based on experience level.  Starting at $40k.
Monday-Friday 8a-5p, in office

Job Duties:
  • Assist with bids and proposals for projects, including gathering and organizing information, assist in creating budgets and quotes, and formatting documents.
  • Help with customer inquiries and walk-ins, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing product and pricing information.
  • Support the sales, design, and operations teams with administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing files, and completing paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, including customer and project data, sales reports, and inventory information.
  • Perform other support tasks as requested, including preparing materials for meetings and presentations, managing expenses and invoices, and coordinating events and travel.
  • Answers phones, filing and other duties as assigned
