For over seven years, TES Staffing has been assisting the largest hospital system in Rochester in hiring for a Medical Secretary. We are thrilled to once again be interviewing for an experienced Secretary for this team.

These openings are:

• Full Time hours - 40 hours a week.  
• Competitive compensation- Starting at $17-18. Benefits available after 30 days.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Primary Care clinical and clerical staff.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Coordinates functions associated with patient information processing for ambulatory care visits and acts as a resource to staff performing those functions. 
• Upholding excellent customer service to the patients you are servicing. 
• Responsible for monitoring own performance on assigned tasks

• Maintains and updates appointment scheduling.
• Schedules and monitors for changes in availability and overbooking, and coordinates and schedules procedures and tests.                       
• Opens a telephone encounter in eRecord when patients have clinical questions.
• Checking patients in and out. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Reliable form of Transportation.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Ability to work well independently and on a team.
• Experience in outpatient, urgent care, or specialty office setting a plus. 
• Medical terminology experience required.
• Demonstrated skills related to achievement of customer satisfaction.
• Healthcare experience required. Good customer service skills are a plus.
