Senior Sales and Project Executive- Commercial Construction

TES Staffing has continued their partnership with one of Western New York’s most celebrated and successful commercial flooring companies to interview and hire a Senior Project Executive for their Rochester team. This is a dynamic role that demands experience in commercial construction, a player/coach mentality, and the hustle to be successful. Details: The Senior Project Executive is responsible for establishing new accounts as well as maintaining and growing current accounts. In addition, this person is responsible for lead generation and conversion, customer outreach and service, documentation of their sales and project activity, and for customer interaction and project management from proposal to project completion. A Senior Project Manager supervises Project Executives and reports to the President/CEO. Compensation: Salary plus bonuses and commission. All in compensation will reflect six-figures

Generate and nurture leads; nurture prospect and customer relationships through consistent outreach
Conduct walk-throughs and take detailed measurements of potential project areas
Assist customers in selecting flooring products that will meet their needs
Complete take-offs and create clear and comprehensive proposals for projects; work with internal staff to finalize proposals
Ensure careful attention to detail to eliminate any mistakes and ensure appropriate profit margin (from proposal through completed project)
Submit proposals to customers within 48 hours of walk-through/measure (with rare exception for complex projects, in collaboration with team and communication with the customer around expectations).
Follow up with customers to track status of proposals, expert level of consistent communication with clients
Coordinate with colleagues, including subcontractors, to schedule installation for flooring projects
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure material orders, work orders, pick tickets, etc. are processed according to project needs; communicate clearly, consistently, and completely with office staff and warehouse staff regarding project specifics in a proactive manner to avoid delays or hiccups later.
Arrange logistics as necessary to ensure a successful flooring installation.
Conduct a final walk through at the tail end of a project to ensure no punch-list items remain and to ensure customer satisfaction
Regularly update CRM with sales activity; set monthly goals for closed business and sales activity (i.e. trailing indicators and leading indicators of success)
Demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement and professional and personal development by participating in webinars, watching videos, taking trainings – all of which are fully supported by the company, including costs for participation
Share new ideas and any concerns with management freely and regularly
Collaborate with the team in a spirit of trust, teamwork, and appreciation.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or construction
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
