Part Time Cook & Team Member

Looking for extra income due to cut hours? Want a second position to keep you busy? Need the flexibility to make your own schedule?  We are hiring for line cooks, prep cooks, and floating food service employees at one of the largest universities in Rochester, NY!

This position will be starting in January for the spring semester and is a contract to potential hire. Permanent status includes FULL BENEFITS (401k, PTO, employer paid health care, and more).
 
 
Pay Rate: $12.50/hr (Days), $13.25 (Nights)
Flexible scheduling, including on call and per diem.
Bus friendly location

 
Responsibilities of this position:
  • Following food safety and sanitation
  • Serve and replenish food, some make to order
  • Scratch cooking
  • Reading recipes 
  • Customer service, assisting students with dietary needs
  • Following direction from managers and head chefs
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent food industry experience
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively communicate and follow instructions
  • Must be flexible with schedule and job duties
  • Servsafe certification a plus!
