The IT Strategy Manager is a senior member of the Operations team responsible for bridging technical assessment, solution design, and pre-sales execution to ensure all recommended and sold solutions are technically sound, strategically aligned, and properly scoped for successful delivery.
This role combines hands-on technical expertise with consultative pre-sales responsibilities. The TAM conducts regular onsite assessments of client environments to identify technical risk, infrastructure misalignment, and operational improvement opportunities. These findings are used to support strategic IT planning and roadmap development in partnership with leadership and client-facing advisors.
In addition, the TAM leads key Pre-Sales and Design Desk functions, including technical discovery, solution architecture, vendor engagement, pricing validation, scope development, and documentation creation. Acting as the technical checkpoint between assessment and implementation, this individual ensures solutions are properly designed, commercially viable, and aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
This position requires someone equally comfortable performing technical evaluations in client environments and collaborating on solution design and sales strategy.
