Part-time: Front Desk Receptionist, Customer Care Associate

Job Description:
Working directly with our Practice Manager, the Customer Care Associate will be responsible for front-line operations. In addition to serving as the primary point of contact for our patients, the Customer Care Associate will provide general administrative support to the practice.
Responsibilities:
•    Greet and check in patients at the front desk
•    Support timely billing by completing daily verification of benefits and collecting co-pays/coinsurance
•    Assist in managing incoming phone calls, patient portal messages, and business SMS
•    Assist in care navigation including outgoing referrals, records requests, and community resources
•    Assist in management of clinician schedules
•    Assist in maintaining and organizing office supply inventory
•    Assist in distributing incoming and outgoing mail
•    Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
•    Previous experience in a customer service and/or front-end administrative role required
•    Strong communication and problem-solving skills
•    Knowledge of Office 365 and strong computer literacy skills
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills
•    Detail-oriented, efficient, with good ability to prioritize tasks
•    Experience with insurance/finance preferred but not required

 
Your Schedule (Approximately 25 hours weekly)
•    Monday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
•    Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
•    Wednesday  (Off)
•    Thursday: 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM
•    Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
 
What We’re Looking For:
•    A natural communicator with strong customer service skills.
•    Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and a willingness to learn new systems, including EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
•    Previous medical office experience is not required, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
