For an older adult moving into senior living, it can be one of the most emotional transitions of their life. They're leaving behind a home filled with memories, making difficult decisions about what comes next, and trying to find comfort in a new environment.
TES Staffing is supporting a local Rochester company who helps make that process easier.

We're looking for compassionate, patient, and dependable people who genuinely enjoy working with older adults and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
This isn't just a moving job. It's people work.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Move Assistant, you'll work directly with older adults and their families before, during, and after a move.
You may:

• Help clients sort, organize, and pack their belongings
• Work alongside families during the moving process
• Unpack and fully set up a new apartment or residence
• Make beds, organize kitchens, arrange furniture, and hang photos
• Create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home from day one
• Provide a calm, reassuring presence during what can be an emotional day
• Coordinate with team members to ensure every detail is handled with care

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Respectful of older adults and their life experiences
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying boxes throughout the day

• Approximately 20-25 hours per week
• Monday through Friday daytime hours
• No nights or weekends
• Hours vary based on client projects
• We work around your availability whenever possible

• Starting at $18.00 per hour

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone for communication and scheduling
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and household items
• Ability to remain active throughout a shift
