Summer Classroom Packing Team Lead – Temporary Seasonal Opportunity
$25.00/hour | 35–40 Hours per Week
Project Dates: June 1 – June 26 (approx.)

We’re seeking dependable, hands-on Team Leads to support K-12 school classroom relocation projects this summer. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active while also leading teams, communicating with school staff, and helping projects stay organized and on schedule.

This is a short-term seasonal leadership opportunity for people who are:

What You’ll Do

Team Leads will work directly inside K-12 school buildings helping coordinate classroom packing and relocation efforts. In addition to physically assisting with packing, Team Leads will serve as the main point of communication between packing crews and school staff, including teachers and principals.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and directing classroom packing teams (1-2 people)
• Communicating professionally with teachers, principals, and school staff
• Helping organize daily workflow and priorities
• Packing classroom materials, supplies, furniture, and equipment
• Ensuring boxes and materials are labeled accurately
• Monitoring productivity and maintaining organized workspaces
• Working independently and solving problems as they arise

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physical role. Candidates must be comfortable:

• Standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Performing physical packing work alongside team members
• Moving throughout school buildings during shifts

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from school locations
• Ability to pass a NYS fingerprint/background check
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
