What You’ll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide both individual and group therapy sessions, helping students achieve their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals. Beyond direct therapy, you’ll play a key role in empowering staff, families, and students to carry over communication strategies across every part of the day.
Your work will include:

• Evaluating and supporting communication skills: language, articulation, voice, fluency, and oral-motor development
• Designing comprehensive treatment and service plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Providing therapy and documenting progress through IEP/ITP goals
• Training and coaching staff in carryover strategies across school and residential settings
• Supporting families to reinforce communication growth at home
• Participating in IEP meetings, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary team collaboration

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• 3+ years of experience working with children in speech therapy
• A passion for helping students find their voice and confidence
