Job Title: Oracle Cloud Support Specialist (Temporary, 10 Months – $105K–$115K)
Overview
TES Staffing, in partnership with the Rochester City School District, is hiring a Temporary Oracle Cloud Support Specialist to join our team during a critical Oracle Cloud transition. This is a full-time, 10-month role offering a competitive salary of $105,000–$115,000. You’ll play a key role in stabilizing HR, Finance, and Payroll processes while ensuring smooth day-to-day system operations.

Reporting Structure
Reports directly to a Technology Supervisor familiar with both Oracle and District operations.
Works closely with Human Capital, Finance, Payroll, and other Oracle Cloud stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily Oracle Cloud user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Ensure payroll, HR, and finance processes run smoothly with accurate data and functionality.
Support testing, validation, and rollout of system fixes and enhancements.
Track and document system issues, escalating as needed.
Provide training and technical assistance to end users.
Collaborate with district staff, vendors, and community agencies to coordinate program planning and system implementation.
Assist in the administration of departmental programs, including monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
May supervise project staff and oversee workflow as needed.
Prepare reports and maintain compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience pathways:
Option A: Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Public or Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field, plus 2 years of full-time administrative or supervisory experience.
Option B: Bachelor’s degree in one of the above fields, plus 3 years of related experience, including 2 years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
Option C: Bachelor’s degree in any field, plus 4 years of related experience, including 2 years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
Option D: An equivalent combination of training and experience as outlined above.
Additional skills and abilities:
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud applications (HR, Finance, or Payroll modules strongly preferred).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of community agencies, program administration, and public sector operations.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) across technical and non-technical teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in public sector or education settings is a plus.
Special Requirements
Possession of a valid New York State Class 5 Driver’s License at the time of appointment.
Candidates may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Per NYSED regulations, clearance from the State Education Department is required for positions involving direct contact with students.
Term & Compensation
Temporary 10-month full-time appointment (potential for renewal/extension).
Salary range: $105,000–$115,000.
