Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, adaptable, and dedicated Educator to lead a mixed-age upper elementary classroom (Grades 4–6). The ideal candidate brings either Montessori classroom experience or the confidence, flexibility, and eagerness to embrace Montessori methods.
Salary: $50K + (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead an upper elementary classroom, fostering academic and personal growth.
• Prepare and maintain a well-organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child’s unique journey.
• Use observation and assessment to inform individualized instruction and classroom practices.
• Create opportunities for student-led inquiry, critical thinking, and independence.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and ongoing reflection to grow in your Montessori practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Education or related field).
• Montessori certification for upper elementary (9–12) required — or willingness to enroll in and complete certification/diploma program upon hire.
• Previous experience working with children in Grades 4–6 preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
• A growth mindset and a genuine love of learning.
