Position: Help Desk Technician-Level I
Location: Rochester City School District, Central Office- 131 W Broad St. Rochester, NY 14614
: Monday - Friday
: 7:30 - 4:30 pm
$17 an hour
Summary of Position
Taking initial customer calls for multiple Rochester City School District locations relating to computer issues, phone and printer problems, and issues with the RCSD’s student directory management system. Tier 1, first call basis for all services. Deal with approximately 70 - 200 calls, when school starts back up large increase during beginning of school year.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Help Desk Experience Required
- Able to manage quick turnaround of calls-simple problems average call is 5-7 minutes fix it or pass it along.
- Technical Background is preferred
- Customer Service preferred
- HS Diploma/ GED Required
- College courses in IT preferred
